Plain English

We like to make things simple here at Kush HQ. We also like to hear your feedback about how we’re doing. So when a customer told us we didn’t have a size guide that was obvious we got thinking. Now how we managed to slip the old one into the ‘About Us’ section of our website and think that it was an obvious place for someone to check is bizarre! (I guess we just figured we must be so interesting why wouldn’t people flock to this page to find out more?!). So we got to fixing the problem and you’ll now find a nifty little pop-up window on each of our product pages that should make it much easier to find the right size to suit you…..

Summer Solstice 2011

What an amazing event the annual Summer Solstice bike ride was! Held on the 18th June again at Cycle Highlands Ballater. It was a real adventure this year – thankfully without injury! The weather made for some interesting riding but 16 hardy souls were up for the challenge and a bit of puddle dodging!

In total over £100 was raised for CLAN Cancer Support charity and plenty of memories were made.
We’re looking forward to next year when we hope the event will be even bigger!

Sunshine – in October?

So ever the opportunists we decided it would be a great idea to boost morale before another long, very cold winter in Scotland by doubling a recent holiday to Egypt with a mini-photo shoot of some of our new gear….The weather was great and more importantly the windsurfing did not disappoint! Thanks to everyone we met in Dahab who made for a great trip. We will certainly be back having wetted the freestyle windsurfing appetite!

Minty’s annual haircut

So our sheep Minty needed her annual haircut but seeing as there’s only one of her we were too lazy to hook up the trailer to take her. So we decided to load her into the back of the land rover and take her that way. She seemed to enjoy her little journey to the shearer’s as it meant she could look out of the front window. She was bottle reared so she thinks she’s a human anyway!
